A must have for every cyclist, helmets have come a long way from the ugly and cumbersome stack-hats of the 1980s. With prices ranging from $39 to $300, in all sizes from toddlers to adults, there is a helmet to suit everyone.  All of the helmet we stock meet the Australian safety standards, a legal requirement for racing. Beware of helmets purchased on the internet. Not all will meet Australian standards and this will void, or substantially reduce, personal injury claims in the unfortunate event of an accident.

Giro Helmets

These helmets are enormously popular with the Pro’s and the social riders alike. The recommended model is the Atmos, due to price, ventilation and weight. The Atmos is light, tough and features huge air vents, to keep your head cool. If your looking for the helmet that the pro’s wear then the Ionos is the model for you. It features slightly more ventilation, and less weight than the Atmos. The Giro Transfer is the base model in the giro range. It is a great helmet for the social rider or the commuter.

Bell Helmets

Bell helmets are great helmets, for whichever type of riding you prefer. Ou pick from the range is the Bell Volt. It is a regular on the pro tour and it is popular amongst elite riders and recreational riders a like. The combination of ventilation and minimal weight have made this helmet a popular choice. The Volt is just $249, however there are many more bell options with great features, in store to choose from.

LG X-Lite- $199

This is our Blair’s favourite helmet. It is the lightest helmet on the market that complies with Australian standards. The X-Lite helmet uses all new patented technology to provide maximum safety to the wearer. It has an adjustable fit system that allows you to fit the helmet correctly to the circumference of your head. Blair loves this helmet because the number of vents gives optimum ventilation, it weighs so little it feels like your wearing nothing at all, and it doesn’t compromise the protection of your head.

One of the best toddler sized helmets on the market to suit a child up to approx. age 3.  Comfortable headset SC fit system specifically scaled to child sized heads. Tough and light, in-molded helmet shell with integrated visor/sun brim for protection against sunlight. Light and easy to use strap and fastening systems.

Adura Corsa- $89.95

Ultra cool and comfortable with 15 large air vents and flow-through channeled ventilation for maximum cooling, and in-molded technology shell. Now fitted with TECLOC, making this one of the best value helmets on the market. Conforms to AS/NZ 2063

Our biggest selling helmet the Adura Edge is great value and feature packed. It has adjustable fit, good ventilation, one piece molding and, like all helmets we sell, conforms to the Australian standards.

These ABD helmets are tough, rugged and simple making them the perfect choice for dirt jumpers, BMXers or riders just wanting that hardcore look. The tough outer shell means these helmets won’t get dinted to bits bouncing round in the back of the ute.  They come in several colour’s.

A sport style helmet for recreational riders of all ages.  20 air vents, easy adjustable retention system and foam construction with a lightweight outer shell.

Avanti Delta - $89.95

A good looking helmet with a reasonable price tag.  21 air vents to keep you cool and in-moulded construction for high strength and safety.  You’ll get a snug fit with the detox adjustable retention system and cam-lock side strap adjustment.  The visor is removable so you can use this helmet for road or MTB riding.
