About

Lifecycle is Brisbane’s best known bicycle store. Set on the city’s busiest intersection, Normanby five-ways, it has always stood for excellence in product and quality of service. Founded just up the road in the mid 70′s by Mike McAuliffe it has been on its present site for over 25 years.
In its early days Lifecycle was known for being the leader in new product as the cycling boom hit in the early 1980′s. In those days it was the only place in town to stock the Peugeot, Gitane and Raleigh bikes which were the first of the exotic brands to replace the local brands such as Malvern Star and Repco. The BMX craze was just as successful with many current customers remembering their Redline and Mongoose BMX bikes which dominated the market back then.
Because of the quality of staff we have programs in place to care for our customers. We offer top advice in all cycling disciplines and with each new bike sold offer a first free service as well as free maintenance classes. We also make a point of catering for female cyclists with introductory group rides on Saturday mornings and female staff members. All our staff are enthusiastic cyclists and at any time the top local riders will probably pop in to catch the latest news or check out the current range of bikes.
At Lifecycle our bicycle range is second to none. We offer great choices at all price points, be it road, mountain or cross bikes. We also have a good range of kids bikes as well as the latest in BMX bikes. When you purchase a bike you can be sure it will be the right one for your needs. We will ensure you have the correct frame size and we’ll adjust your riding position for the perfect pedaling style. We offer practical advice from experience and if you join us for our shop rides you’ll be able to ride with our staff members including Commonwealth and Olympic cyclist, Blair Stockwell.
Enjoy your time on the Lifecycle website. We always welcome feedback or comments so feel free to email or call.
